Why did we fall that evening?

the reason why 

I am not broken, i am just done,

With whatever the fuck is on the run.

I am way too pissed and annoyed,

About the things, I should just avoid.

In love, I felt a worry deep,

A hurt that made my heart weep.

Our love was good, but doubts did brew,

A love so sweet, yet pain it knew.

In shadows dark, we hid our fears,

Our hearts in pain, with silent tears.

Afraid to lose what we held dear,

Yet in your arms, I wanted near.

That shady night, wanted to feel tight,

Pain shined deeper, and faded the sight. 

With every cry, with every sigh,

Our love stayed strong, though we questioned why.

Unspoken words, a choice I've made,

In silence, their meaning won't fade.

Certain thoughts, we keep inside,

Not to feel that pain, that passed with the night.

I had it all, yet still felt so low,

In my heart, a sadness continued to grow.

It might seem like you hold all in your hand,

But sometimes love's plans we don't understand.
